The hosts were kind and flexible, but the car could use some serious work/cleaning before being rented to anyone else. As noted in a prior review that I unfortunately didn’t see when booking, the tires are very worn. I’m glad it didn’t rain during my trip. Further, the steering assembly needs serious inspection because it wobbles viciously at speeds above 60 mph.

Thanks for the feedback.
I inspected the tires and the tread still seems adequate, each tire still has 6-7/32” of tread left.
The wheel balancing and rotation has been scheduled to remediate the high speed steering wheel vibration.

Wheel shakes badly at speed. Tires are dangerously bald otherwise good trip

I just took the truck for a test drive and inspected the tires.
Apologies for the vibration, it appears the tires could use a balance and rotation. I will get this done ASAP.
However, I did measure the tire tread since you mentioned they were “dangerously bald.” All four measured at approximately 6-7/32” of tread depth, indicating they are still in operable condition.
