I never really understood what all the Tesla hype was about…until I spent four days with this Cybertruck. Now I get it. I am officially a believer.
I rented it for my husband’s birthday weekend and surprised him by picking him up from the airport in it. It was the perfect way to kick off an incredible four days, and the Cybertruck quickly became part of the adventure itself. This wasn’t simply a rental car, it was an experience!
This was also my first Turo rental, and the entire process from start to finish was seamless. The truck was delivered right on time, immaculately clean, and the host was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Pickup at the end was just as easy.
The Cybertruck itself is something you have to experience to fully appreciate. The self driving technology absolutely blew me away. Watching the vehicle navigate, make decisions, and handle so much of the driving was fascinating, and admittedly a little surreal at first. Four days of learning all the technology felt like a crash course in getting myself into the 21st century.
Say what you will about Elon Musk, but the Tesla speaks for itself. After experiencing the technology firsthand, especially the self driving capabilities, it genuinely feels like a glimpse into the future of transportation.
If you’ve ever been curious about a Cybertruck, rent this one. Everyone should experience it at least once.
