While the truck itself was good and there were no issues with it, I attempted to cut my trip by one day but was prevented from doing so by the host. This would have resulted in an over $200 refund. I had to leave a day earlier than expected.

The hsit denied the initial request maybe an hour or so after it was made stating they didn’t have enough time to pick up the vehicle. I explained they don’t need to pick it up from the airport at the exact time but in order to give them more time, I submitted a new request for an hour or so later.

They read my message requesting a change in trip duration and never responded. Hours later they denied my request stating they didn’t have enough time to pick up the car, but read receipts are always on and they did view my request right after I made it. I confirmed this.

This is just not a good practice.

This was a very good trip the truck is in excellent condition having apple car play was wonderful so we could use our maps, the owner was very accommodating to our late pick up time and made sure we were able to locate the vehicle safely.

If you’re looking for a truck, this will work. I was worried from the pictures that it would be too pristine to carry anything but it has been used as a rental since ‘23 and has the marks to prove it. Most of the interior seats are stained and the engine runs like it’s a 4-cylinder(I think it’s a 6). The owner stated that he was not a used car salesman but walked from the used lot next door to the gas station we met at and then preceded to try to sell me a car when I returned the rental. He also asked me to give him $15-20 for a car wash that was not previously requested, so that he could get it cleaned before the next trip. I stated that I would have been happy to handle that had it been requested prior to drop off and his response was that I please leave a good review instead. Overall, a mediocre experience.

Service was good but was not able to reach host on return time to ask questions.
