The host was one hour late for the scheduled pickup. Shortly after receiving the vehicle, we experienced a flat tire and noticed an oil change warning. Later during the trip, we received a warning that the front brake pads were very low, and we were advised not to continue driving the vehicle.
This was extremely disruptive to our trip and raised serious concerns about the vehicle’s maintenance and safety. We expected the vehicle to be properly maintained and ready for a long trip when we picked it up. Unfortunately, the combination of the delayed pickup, tire issue, maintenance warning, and serious brake issue made this a very difficult rental experience.
