Renting James’ Toyota Tacoma was an amazing experience, especially for our trip to the Big Island! The truck was incredibly fun to drive, reliable, and perfect for exploring everything the island has to offer. We had such a great time driving it around the entire island, and I would definitely recommend renting this truck!
James was extremely communicative, friendly, and made the whole rental experience smooth and enjoyable.
This truck will always hold a special place in my memories because it was part of a new chapter in my life—I got engaged on this beautiful island! Having this Tacoma along for the journey made the experience even more memorable.
Thank you, James, for being part of such an unforgettable trip! Mahalo! 🤙🌺

Car quality was really smooth and good for driving. The pickup and return instructions were really easy to follow. The host, James, was easy to contact and flexible with everything. Overall, great car and host to rent from!

I try to make everything as simple and flexible as possible for my guests, so I appreciate you mentioning that. It was a pleasure hosting you, and you’re welcome back anytime!
Host was very responsive, the car was as described and yes you can go up to the observatory at Maunakea! The interior was not as clean as we would‘ve liked, the trunk of the car does not come with a cover and the inside was quite tight, but it got the job done. Overall solid :)

Thanks so much for the thoughtful and balanced review! I’m really glad the car met your needs and that you were able to make it up to the Maunakea observatory—that’s always a special experience. I appreciate the feedback about the interior cleanliness and trunk cover; that’s helpful and something I’ll keep working to improve. Thanks again for choosing the car, and I’m glad it got the job done for your trip. Safe travels! 😊
