NO SMOKING - No smoking or vaping in our cars. We do have guests that are sensitive to smoke, so we appreciate all our guests respecting this policy. NO PETS - While we love animals, we do not allow animals in any of our car. As with smoke, some guests are sensitive to pet hair and dander. NO OFF-ROADING - Turo policy prohibits driving on roads that are not paved. Areas such as the "backside of Hana" also known as or Kipahulu (past Ohe'o Gulch) or doing the "full loop" around Hana, should be avoided. The road through Kipahulu/Kaupo area is known for falling rocks and landslides. Other areas to avoid are the top of Polipoli and Jaws/Peahi. NO DRINKING & DRIVING - For your safety and the safety of our community, please be responsible on the roads. MINIMIZE SAND & DIRT - We know it's an island, but please dust off your feet and other items before getting in the car. Sand is very difficult to vacuum out of the carpets. Excessive sand, dirt & stains could be subject to a cleaning fee. APPLY SUNSCREEN OUTSIDE - Sunscreen sticks to surfaces and stains the car interior. Please apply sunscreen outside of the car. Also, please note that many sunscreens are banned in Hawaii as they damage our coral and sea life, you can visit this link for more information: www.hawaiigetawayguide.com DRY OFF BEFORE SITTING - If you're wet, please dry off or cover the seats with a towel. Water, especially salt water, can damage the car interior and leave white rings on the seats. KEEP KEY FOB DRY - Please don't swim with the car keys. Water will destroy the alarm remote and could affect your ability to lock/unlock the car. NO TEXTING & DRIVING - Hawaii law prohibits the use of hand-held electronic devices while driving, which includes cell phones and navigation devices. The police are really strict on enforcement and the fine is $297. DRIVE IN LOW GEAR DOWNHILL - Help us preserve our brakes and don't ride them coming down hills. For areas such as Haleakala Summit, you can shift the car into low gear so you don't have to continuously push the brakes coming down the hill. LOCKOUT SERVICES - (excludes Hana, Kaupo, Haleakala or Kahakuloa) - For any lost/damaged keys, or if you're locked out of the car, we charge a $100 fee to deliver the spare (if we're available) plus the cost of the key replacement for our lockout service. • How do I remove the Freedom Top?

  We only allow the driver and passenger panels to be removed. The rest of the hardtop shall remain on the vehicle. Here is a video link on how to remove the 2 panels. We also provide the bag for the panels to prevent damage. https://youtu.be/I_gGVBrHpjM
