Unfortunately, the communication and cleanliness of the vehicle wasn’t ideal. There were multiple people communicating with me and another individual that moves the vehicles for the coordinators, which resulted in being charged $90. The owner called and explained that life happens, yes however, lied and said the facilitators don’t make changes on Turo’s side and it was my responsibility to change the pick-up/drop-off location. Not true, I confirmed with one of them that I can pick it up to avoid the delivery fee $45 and the airport fee $45. I paid for an uber $15 to the location when the vehicle was actually at the airport still. So another uber ride to the airport and a phone call with the owner. She said she would refund $45 but that’s it. I cleaned 1/2 of the inside of the windshield so I could see out of it once the sun set. It wasn’t a great experience. The drop off directions given are “leave it in general parking”. There’s no “general parking”. It’s either long-term or short-term. So I parked it where I picked it up.
