Overall, the truck got me where I needed to go, and the host was responsive to messages. However, I was disappointed that the listing was not an accurate representation of the vehicle.
There was a constant rattling noise caused by an air freshener stuck inside one of the air vents. It was very distracting while driving, and based on our conversation, the host was already aware of the issue but did not disclose it before the rental.
The listing photos also do not accurately reflect the truck's current condition. The vehicle has significantly more cosmetic damage than shown, including a severely cracked dashboard above the speedometer.
While communication was good, I believe future renters deserve a more accurate description and up-to-date photos so they know what to expect.
