It was convenient contactless pickup drop off but I had to walk a mile to pick up and drop off, and the mosquitoes got me along the way. The truck had some issues, but it wasn't anything that affected the trip. The renter was a nice, courteous person.

I've dreaded writing this review because I have to be honest and just say it wasn't my best TURO experience. The host was nice, yet slow to respond. We found out AFTER landing at 11pm that not only was the truck not at the airport as arranged, and had paid extra for (had to Uber to find the truck...1.2 miles away, but a ridiculous $27 charge - TURO did refund that), but the truck had electrical issues which caused constant warning lights in addition to two tires that kept losing air- more warning lights. The host was upfront about the electrical chaos issues in his last communication, but being as we received that AFTER landing it was too late to make a change, especially almost midnight. Understanding that the owner is new to TURO, I provided some constructive criticism directly to him so hopefully he can have success with this platform. Going forward, the child seat should be removed prior to the rental, the truck interior needs to be much cleaner, the gas tank needs to be full etc... besides the obvious of the vehicle being in total working. It is my understanding that the electrical repair and cracked windshield replacement is scheduled, which would make this a decent experience in the future. Hopefully, "live and learn" applies here. Other than those issues mentioned, the truck ran well, was comfortable and suited our needs (just had to relax about all the warning lights). I would give George another chance, but I'd want reassurances and understanding of expectations many days PRIOR to arrival. I wish George well in this endeavor and as a general rule, find TURO to be an invaluable service.
I appreciate you being honest with your review.I want to make sure I become a good Turo host and your comments definitely will help.Im sorry about the kids seat I don’t have little kids I just thought maybe people would like the option of using it but I should’ve just asked.I just got the truck back the day before and I had a mechanic look at it he said it ran fine but couldn’t fix the lights in that short of a time.I tried to communicate this before rental but im sorry and I’ll do better next

The truck was fine but the convenient pick-up and drop-off that I originally booked was changed by the Owner the night before it was supposed to be dropped off. It was disappointing, and in addition to the wasted time, it resulted in me spending a total of $50 on Ubers to get to and from the truck. The truck was also difficult to locate when I picked it up.
