I rented this Tesla truck for my nephew’s high school prom, and overall, the vehicle was smooth and enjoyable to drive. However, there were a few concerns regarding its condition and the overall experience.
At the time of pickup, the exterior of the vehicle had not been properly cleaned or wiped down, and the interior could have been better maintained. The seats were also dirty, which was disappointing. Additionally, the truck bed was dirty and should have been cleaned prior to the rental. I also noticed that the host had left personal items, specifically golf equipment, in the trunk.
Furthermore, it would have been helpful if the host had provided basic information about the vehicle, such as the requirement to use a Tesla-specific charging port. This would have made the experience more seamless, especially for first-time drivers of this type of vehicle.
Overall, while the vehicle itself performed well, addressing these issues would significantly improve the rental experience.
