I did not receive the car. The host had a flat tire and could not get the car to me. I notified Turo immediately via their chat but they still charged me. The host said that she was calling them to cancel the reservation on 9/3, the date of service. Today, on 9/8 Turo customer support is telling me that the host did not cancel and instead sent pictures of the car being “checked out”. I cannot tell if the host is scamming me or if Turo is absolutely incompetent. I had a previous successful rental in Hawaii. This is my second attempt to use Turo. Because of this experience it will be my last. I am initiating a credit card dispute and will file against Turo in small claims court. I have spent countless time on various “chats” and emailing Turo support and just got off of a 30 minute phone call with Turo support with a rep who read the hosts messages saying that she cancelled the reservation, but the customer service rep still was telling me that I received the car. It is just straight up crazy. Sorry Turo - this will end our relationship.

The host was great! The Jeep was really nice and performed really well. Would definitely rent from her again.
