John is an amazing host and the truck is great! Plenty of room for everyone and plenty of power for the mountains.

The Tundra was in great shape for being 8 years old. Interior was in good shape, and it was as clean as it needed to be (cleaner than mine at home, but not sterile like a corporate rental). I mean, come on, within the first day of renting a Tundra you are going to be stepping in and out of Montana mud, right? Modern cars have more bells and whistles, but this is a 2017, so don't expect any adaptive cruise control or blind-spot assistance...
We didn't use the tent, nor did we plan to. Having the truck bed available was great for waders and other wet or dirty stuff one might create while enjoying Montana.
Drop off and pick up at the airport was simple.
