I thought it would be great to try a Tacoma out. I wish I had not. This “truck” is not comfortable at all. I am not even 6 foot tall and it was a pain to drive with the seat basically on the floor. If you plan on driving through mountains you will have to put the pedal all the way to the floor to keep up your speed even with a very slight incline. The truck bed cover was nice until we found out that it was leaking and soaked our suitcases clothes inside the suitcase. I have a truck bed cover on my truck at home and have never had this issue before. If you’re looking for something small that gets good gas mileage (29.5 mpg) for a drive around town then this should be fine for you. I won’t be renting a Tacoma again.

Sorry the truck didn’t meet your expectations. The truck itself “is what it is” and we can’t control that (power) set position, etc.). As we mentioned in our messages, we have rented the vehicle for 6 years and have yet to have any leaking issues with the cover. We will certainly address this for future guests. We hope enjoyed Montana and would welcome you back in one of our other vehicles. Candidly we’re also disappointed in the rating but appreciate your feedback.

Clean vehicle but it did not like driving through the mountains. Did get pretty good gas mileage for a pick up truck. Roughly 375 miles to a tank.
