The host was great, the truck was exactly as described, and I would rent from this host again.
My concern is that the listing showed a mileage overage charge of $1.19 per mile, but it did not indicate that Turo would also add a 3% processing fee, an additional airport fee, and applicable taxes to any mileage overage. I only discovered this after receiving the invoice and later finding the information buried in Turo's Help pages.
I wish this had been made much more prominent in the listing or alongside the advertised $1.19 per mile overage rate so renters could understand the true cost before booking.
If you're considering this rental, be sure to research Turo's policies on excess mileage and incidental fees before you book. The actual cost of going over your mileage allowance may be higher than you expect.
My issue is with Turo's fee disclosure, not the host or the vehicle.
