Where do I even begin? The vehicle itself was absolutely incredible — practically brand new, with what I believe was only about four miles on it when I picked it up. Everything was immaculate, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations.
But what really made this experience exceptional was Rebecca.
Due to traffic and circumstances beyond my control, I ended up running late. Rebecca was hands down one of the most patient, understanding, accommodating, and genuinely wonderful people I’ve ever dealt with. Not once did she make me feel uncomfortable or pressured. Instead, she worked with me, kept communication positive, and encouraged me to get everything wrapped up and the vehicle returned as quickly as possible.
That kind of patience, maturity, professionalism, and genuine kindness is something you just don’t encounter every day. Rebecca has a remarkable way of making people feel respected and appreciated, even when circumstances aren’t ideal. It’s a rare quality, and one that deserves recognition.
For some perspective, I’ve been involved with Turo since its earliest days, going back roughly a decade, and I have extensive experience with Airbnb and peer-to-peer platforms. I’ve seen the good, the bad, and everything in between. So when I say this experience impressed me, I genuinely mean it.
The entire hosting team deserves recognition. The organization, responsiveness, communication, and absolutely impeccable customer service were on another level. In an industry where personal service can sometimes feel like an afterthought, this team has clearly figured out how to do things right.
