Front tires are bald, not a safe truck. I rented the truck to tow my boat, but found out the host doesn’t allowing towing and had a lock on the hitch. There was nothing in there ad that said no towing. But again the front tires were too bald to use this vehicle regardless The host screwed me on one day, only allowing me a partial refund. I plan to talk to Managment tomorrow.
Tom, I’m sorry you had this experience. I contacted Turo and secured your full refund. Although the tires had passed inspection, I’ve now installed brand-new ones. I apologize if towing coverage wasn’t clear; it’s excluded per Turo’s terms agreed upon at booking. My goal is ensuring safe, clear rentals—your feedback helps improve that. Truck was excellent, no issues whatsoever. One thing to note though, I planned on using a hitch mount cargo carrier for my cooler but the hitch was locked and not useable. Makes sense in hindsight, I wouldn’t want strangers towing with my truck either, but wanted to point it out. I’m sure Angel would have worked with me if I planned ahead, he was very easy to work with. 5 stars!
