I wish that I could say that this was the best experience, but I can’t. Delivery was stressful, the host was unresponsive and I had just got off of work after a 12 hr shift and couldn’t get a reply on why it was being delivered somewhere else. The truck makes a loud squeaky noise when you turn and it’s not the smoothest turns due to the tires. It’s smells like heavy smoke inside the car, it didn’t smell like it was cleaned from the last driver. I hope the next person experience is better than mine.
Shanita, the delivery address selected was simply “Tesla.” Due to Tesla security restrictions, we could only leave the truck in the parking area approved by Tesla staff. The vehicle was never delivered to a different location. Access rules on Tesla property are outside of our control, so guests wanting an easier pickup should select another delivery address.
Regarding the smell, as explained, a previous guest smoked inside during a long trip, and we are still working to remove the odor.
