The car itself was fine, but as someone who is not a car person, I had no idea that “EV” meant the vehicle was fully electric. It wasn’t clear to me from the listing that I would need to plan for charging stops, and finding places to charge quickly during a busy tournament weekend was very stressful. I would recommend making the vehicle’s electric status and charging requirements much more obvious in the description so renters can make an informed decision before booking.

The car was as described, comfortable and easy to find. The host was great at communicating with very quick responses. I would rent again from this host, however not an EV. The charging station situation in the Tampa/Clearwater area is terrible which is no fault of the host. We spent half a day unsuccessfully looking for a station that wasn't broken. The host was very responsive suggesting a charging station near the airport, but when we arrived, all of the working stalls were full (many were non operational). We are fortunate we were not in a desperate situation and had a decent amount of battery remaining to reach our final destination. It could've been a lot worse, but it certainly was not how we would've liked to spend our last day of vacation.
