I rented this Escalade for a 15-day family vacation but unfortunately had to return it after only 2 days because it was not drivable for our family. The biggest issue was an overwhelming odor of cigars and cigarette smoke throughout the entire vehicle. The smell was deeply embedded in the seats and came through the air vents every time the A/C ran. My children and I experienced coughing, sneezing, and irritation, making it very uncomfortable to be in the vehicle.
In addition, the engine appeared to have a noticeable misfire or hesitation when driving below approximately 20 mph, which further affected the driving experience.
The host was kind, responsive, and handled the return professionally, and I appreciate that. However, I don’t believe this vehicle should have been rented in its condition. Because of the smoke odor and mechanical concerns, we had no choice but to return it 13 days early and find alternate transportation. I hope these issues are addressed before it’s rented to another guest.

Easy to pick up and communicate was seamless! We needed a large vehicle to drive my son and his friends to prom so they would not have to worry about driving. Car was clean and very nice.
