The Tesla itself was in standard condition, but unfortunately, the overall rental experience was disappointing. The main issue was the trunk repeatedly opening after being closed. While waiting in the school pickup line, I had to get out and close it at least eight times, and it also opened again while I was at Publix and after parking at a family member’s home. I reported the issue and provided photos, but unfortunately, I didn’t receive much assistance or a timely solution.
Communication was also a concern. I had asked for the temporary virtual key so I could use the Tesla app, but my message was left on read without a response. I understand that unexpected issues can happen, but I would have appreciated more communication and support. Overall, the car itself was fine, but the trunk issue and lack of responsiveness made the experience less enjoyable than expected.
