Overall got the job done however there is evidence there is some maintenance needed. The battery light was flashing and the car was having trouble starting a couple times in the last day or so of the trip. There was also some noise from the engine maybe close to oil change time. Nevertheless my overall experience was a good one.

Experience was okay until the end. I picked up the car with gas below half tank, which I thought was strange but w.e, I figured I’d return it to where it was; which is what I did. Upon return, I get an invoice almost 12 hrs later saying the gas was full. The invoice was a picture of a receipt that showed an amount of $23 and the. He had the audacity to add a $10 inconvenience fee. So his surprise, I had over 15 photographs of the car, in his driveway, with time stamps, showing the gas was below half. To my surprise however, he kept sending me one particular ZOOMED in photo of a full gas gauge. I guess this fella must be daft because he also has two photos (which were purposely cut to not show the gas gauge, the day of) but he wasn’t smart enough to crop the whole photo so with just a little zooming in, you can see the gas gauge at below half like I said. Be him and two other guys kept messaging me insisting. I finally reached out to Turo, provided them my reservation # and within a min, the person helping was surprised as to how stupid this fellow was. They cancelled the invoice and said they’d reach out to this person(s). But after this whole ordeal, it hit me that maybe this is some type of scam these people have been running on customers for a very long time and had never been caught. So anyway, be very careful. This person, Cumhur Y and his or her associates are scam artist.
