Overall a good experience with a very responsible host. The vehicle drove really well for the entire 5-day trip. However, on the last day of the trip we encountered a coolant leak. We had to stop at a local mechanic to get it checked/fixed. The vehicle drove well after the fix without any further issues.
The host was extremely responsive and handled the situation very professionally. He reimbursed the coolant and the mechanic cost, waived the fuel refill, and even gave me a ride home at the end of the trip.
While the mechanical issue was unfortunate and unavoidable, I appreciated how quickly and fairly the host took responsibility and made things right. I would rent from him again.
