The car had a mechanical issue - scraping noises from the left front wheel well. Returned the car immediately.
Also, and unrelated to the mechanical issue, the car did not look as on the advertised pictures where it appeared in very good cosmetic condition.
The car had been hit on the rear tail gate, was missing plastic part on the front right side bumper, and form the side rear left and right wheel wells. Also under the right side front bumper and wheel well parts were missing - indication of a collision repair of sorts.
All things were present in the pre-trip pictures from the host - I.e. the host knew the cars condition.
Had the advertised pictures reflected the cars true condition on pickup we would not have booked the car!
The communication with the host was less than satisfactory - though cordial when they finally returned our msg later in the day.

Thank you for the last minute booking. I needed a rental and found this one on Turo. Nice car, clean. Easy pick up instructions. Pick up was in the parking garage of a grocery store, which was a little bit scary, but it was overall safe and well communicated. Just message host before hand and ask if they will unlock the car right before you get there. The newer cars may automatically lock, even if the host unlocked it prior to your pick up time.
