I would not rent this vehicle again. The 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee had been sitting in the sun, and the seats were unbearably hot. I was surprised it didn’t have ventilated seats, which made the 2.5-hour drive to the beach very uncomfortable.
The much bigger issue was discovering the license plate had expired seven months earlier Dec 2025. The host was already aware, yet the vehicle was still being rented. Turo’s only solution was to return the car, which would have ruined my trip and delayed my beach check-in.
To make matters worse, I was pulled over twice because of the expired registration, and the second stop nearly resulted in a ticket. No guest should have to worry about being stopped by police because a host failed to keep their vehicle legal. This was an unacceptable experience, and I cannot recommend renting from this host. She is clearly only focused on profits and not the comfortability of her guest.
