I booked this vehicle two days in advance and confirmed with the host that it would be dropped off at my location at 8:00 AM. I reshot the host first to confirm the car will be dropped off. The host asked about the address and I confirmed the location. I saw the message was read but not acknowledged. A day before checking, I submitted my license for review which it was never reviewed by the host and I received no communication from the host the night before or the morning of the scheduled drop‑off.
On the morning of the rental, I reached out multiple times by message and phone with no response. The car did not arrive at the scheduled time, and I had to arrange an Uber to a job site 30 miles away at additional cost. I had already paid for the rental and had planned my workday and transportation around having the vehicle.
The host only responded after platform support contacted her, and the car was delivered over an hour late. I requested that it be dropped off at my job site since I would be there all day, and although the host eventually agreed, the delay and lack of communication created significant disruption.
The next morning, I requested a short extension for the return time due to receiving the car late, but I did not receive a response.
The vehicle itself was fine, but the communication issues and late delivery made the experience difficult.
Thank you for your detailed feedback. I sincerely apologize for the delayed delivery and lack of communication that morning. You planned your workday around having the vehicle, and I take full responsibility for dropping the ball.

We asked extend one day before trip began and said yes all set. It wouldn’t let me extend extra day. Contacted host told me contact turo customer service they said had a reservation for the car won’t let me extend I spent most trip on this issue, she gave vague instructions on where car parked just says economy lot with picture told me info intrip details Terrible host, I rent from Turo frequently bit after this no more turo
NIGHTMARE GUEST! Do not recommend!!! Vehicle arrivedfor delivery 3 hours early. I then notified her the vehicle was parked in Economy Lot 3 and provided her exact Section. I explained how to obtain the shuttle to said location. She said she prefers Central b/c of her knees and bags. I apologized for just having learned this AFTER the fact. The vehicle was in fact extended to her specific time. She feels a need to complain, be dissatisfied and ungrateful given excellent service, UNPLEASABLE!
