Picked up the car from the airport and a low battery display was present on the dashboard. Hoped driving from the airport would recharge the battery but the next day, the car did not start. I attempted to jump start the car which did not fix the issue (battery was dead). Additionally, I later noticed that the car had license plate regristration that had expired in November of 2025 (luckily we did not get pulled over as a result). The owner told me to contact Turo to notify them of the battery issue. Dealing with this issue wasted a day of our vacation but luckily did not result in stranding our young family. I have used Turo several times prior to this and all past experiences were good, unfortunately that was not the case with this experience.

As soon as you reached out, I directed you to Turo Roadside, personally installed a new battery, and offered to redeliver the car so you could complete your trip. To clarify, the state registration was fully active and legal—the physical sticker had simply come off the plate and has been replaced. We pride ourselves on clean, reliable vehicles and wish your family the best on future travels.
