I had one of the worst experiences with Turo. The car broke down while I was driving from Raleigh to Florida with my family. Instead of enjoying our trip, I spent the first day dealing with the vehicle and working with a mechanic to try to get it fixed.
This breakdown completely disrupted our plans and caused a great deal of stress. On top of that, I had to pay out of my own pocket to get back to North Carolina. This experience was frustrating, inconvenient, and very disappointing.
I ended up spending much more money than I expected because of this situation. Turo offered me a refund that was far less than the amount I paid for the rental and the additional expenses I had to cover. I don’t believe the refund is fair considering everything I went through.

Guest put E85 flex fuel gas in the vehicle, Don’t know how this happened that caused the breakdown should have run 87 regular octane please pay attention to refueling at gas station this would have saved everyone time and money
