Such an easy and amazing trip thank you so much such a joy to have a car to ride around that is us comfortable and flexible five stars Experience.

The car quality was good, it was very clean and functioned well. The display was glitchy at times, but did not impact functionality of the car. The hosts answered my questions and the pickup and drop off process went smoothly. I was able to bring a group up to Haleakala and we had a great time, the car had no problems going up the mountain. :)

Great communication and quick responses.

This car was the most stressful part of our vacation. Beginning with last minute communication. We had already landed at the airport and got our bags, the car was being dropped off at that time and we had to wait to get the location and directions to get inside. Then comes the lock box. That thing should not have been that hard to get into, but it was. The car made a bunch of crunchy sounds, the screen was seizing and flickering constantly. Right after getting the vehicle the battery on the key fob died, and so every single time we got into the car, we would set the alarm off. Not really the vibe, especially getting up early in a complex and waking everyone up. The cars frustrations did not disappoint- as we returned it to the airport the lock box was an absolute pain to get closed and took probably ten minutes to figure out.
The one upside is we didn't need the car a ton during our stay, but when we did need it- it was more a pain than anything.
I don't like writing bad reviews so here are the positives- the owners were open to meeting up to give me a new key fob- but only when it was convenient for them, on the side of the island that they were on. They did apologize about it, but I was pretty frustrated at that time so I was over it. Unfortunately we will never rent from these people again. Communication seemed to be with multiple people so I'm guessing the car is owned by some big company, and not locals. Who knows.

Pickup and drop off was a dream. We were able to meet right at the airport and drop off was the same. The owner was communicative and prompt.

After a week driving and exploring, it makes me want to get a Subaru Forester now 😅 it drove super smooth and was exactly what we needed to explore the island.
