The 2025 Honda HR-V was a great car, that was clean and in excellent condition (low mileage and of June 2025, less than 8,000 miles on it). We got it for the day coming from an NCL cruise that docks in Maui. The host was nice and responsive, and helped us with one request for our child. Will rent from again near the NCL Cruise Port that we picked up the car nearby at Whole Foods parking lot nearby (no taxi ride needed to get there). Note: When returning the car you can go to the actual dock entrance to drop off any passengers and their gear right by the ship, and then you'd drive back to the Whole Foods parking lot and walk from there back to the port (without a lot of gear).

The car itself was fine. The host was a little less accommodating. Was told I was gonna pay the $24 parking ticket at the airport to pick it up. I just wish he had specified there would be a price to pick up the car. Then, I asked maybe he could throw in the gas refuel on the house because we’re paying for the parking ticket. He then says no, and insists on us still paying for the parking ticket plus not adding any other incentive. You would think that local people would take care of local people. No more aloha anymore. Just a warning to anyone renting.

The car runs great, awesome gas mileage. Very clean and full tank of gas. The delivery went smoothly. Great communication. Would do it again with this person.

Good meet up spot, just outside baggage claim. Joseph was there to greet me and hand over the keys. Would rent from him again.
