The one-way trip adds-on is completely misleading.
How can it be a one-way trip if you have to pick up and return the car in almost the same area at the airport?
The whole reason I booked a car from Turo is for the one-way trip: I pick up the car and return it in the resort area. I booked this car and paid for the one-way trip one month before my trip. However, when I confirm the return with the host one day before they told me that there are only two places to return the car: both at the airport area, 5-min drive away from each other.
I have to drive one-hour all the way from my hotel to the airport and hand over the car; then take a Uber back to my hotel — 120 dollars, in a heavy rainy night.
I wouldn’t book this car at all, if I knew their one-way trip is a scam. I probably won’t use Turo next time anymore.
