This experience was okay and the car’s ride was great, however there was an issue with the AC that was really annoying, especially in the HOT Hawaii weather. Whenever the car came to a stop (like at a stoplight) the AC would start to run warm. This was especially bothersome especially if we were in traffic. 🥵Other than that, the car ran well. Oh, and another annoying thing was we had to pay $30 to exit the parking complex. There are other hosts here on Turo that cover that fee for you, and that just makes the whole process a lot easier. It was not all together bad, but just something to be aware of if you’re booking this vehicle. Hopefully the host will have the AC problem resolved soon.

Respectfully I would like to inform you all the new vehicles have this function where if you stop at a stop light the engine/ac shuts off/idle mode which is why you experience warm AC. Unfortunately to solve this problem every time you turn on the car you need to manually press the idle button left side of the steering wheel so the AC doesn’t turn off. 2nd our new vehicles have paper plates which is why we inform the guest to contact us or take a picture of the receipt & upload turo.
Loved our experience. Very good at communicating with us. First time using turo and we were impressed! Would rent from him again
