We got 5 minutes from the pick up spot and lost all power in the middle of the road. We contacted the host and all he said was that he knew it had problems and it might start again. Thank you to the amazing Turo support guy who got us our money back.

We sincerely regret that this happened. The Jeep Patriot was fully inspected and repaired by a mechanic right before your trip, so this mechanical failure was unexpected. We never rent out vehicles with known issues. The car is back in the shop, and we are glad Turo Support took care of your refund
Roman was friendly and a good host, very easy to work with. I made a mistake in parking on the street in front of a neighbor's house, if you're leaving another vehicle when renting Roman's car, check in with him first about a good parking location.
Car was clean inside and out, pickup and drop off were easy.
The Jeep did have a couple of issues, though they didn't significantly impact the trip. The rear passenger door doesn't seem to lock automatically, we weren't anywhere that it was an issue but it took us a minute to realize it was happening.
Oddly the engine also stalled a couple of times while in motion, though it seemed to turn over and restart, it was a little disconcerting the 3 times it happened over the course of the trip.
All worked out ok and given how responsive Roman was during the trip, I'm sure those mechanical issues will be addressed now that they're known.
