Excellent communication and great vehicle for a family trip

This was the worst experience I’ve had on Turo. Adrian was a terrible host. The Sorento started leaking oil and I immediately informed Adrian of the leak. My family was stranded for three hours while we tried to communicate with Adrian and work through the issues. Adrian did not respond to my initial message stating the problem for over an hour. I had to send two additional messages before I received a response. Adrian did offer us another vehicle, but one that was even older than the one we rented. This was unacceptable to me as I was concerned this vehicle would also break down.
I should have trusted the other reviews that complained about the lack of maintenance on Adrian’s vehicles. They were absolutely correct.
Long story short, do not use Adrian as a host. Adrian was unprofessional, showed an extreme lack of concern for our situation, and showed no customer service. I reported a problem and included pictures. I was then called a liar and told the problem never occurred.
Why would I spend almost six hours on the phone with a rude and unprofessional host and with Turo while on vacation if the problem didn’t really occur? I have never been so offended in my life as I was when some Turo host questioned my integrity. The money doesn’t mean that much to me and apparently your customers don’t mean that much to you.
Take my word for it. Save yourself much aggravation, money, and time and DO NOT USE THIS HOST. The host will probably respond and say there wasn’t a problem and that I made this up to get my money back or some such garbage. Trust me. The host is a liar and will not help you when their vehicle breaks down.
Read ALL of the reviews. I’m not the only one that has complained about mechanical problems or a lack of maintenance on the vehicles.
Hi, I’m sorry that we do not have the ability to respond immediately, our team is active on work during the day.
We responded when you reached out and you were already busy with another errand so we waited for additional information on the issue.
We offered you the only vehicle we had, we could not have offered a newer vehicle since we did not have any on hand at the time. You continued to operate the car to with the issue. We then simply had the trip ended, and we retrieved the vehicle.
