Initially, the customer service of the host was great. However, thanks, Turo and possibly the host. I’m being charged an improper return fee when the system wasn’t allowing me to extend my trip. I reached out to the host who stated that the vehicle was not improperly returned and that it was returned to the exact location of pick up, and that was designated for drop off. However, Turo is charging me a late fee compounded with an improper return fee for the vehicle being returned late when the system was not allowing me to extend my trip. Predatory charges. After reaching out to the owner of the vehicle,

I received what I thought was comforting support that concurred I should not be charged with improper return fees. However, after getting the runaround from Turo, the host is now non-responsive to my messages.

The car, pick up and drop off was so easy
But the host wanting to charge me 150 cleaning fee…. (That was crazy) When the post clearly stated that no cleaning was required as long as we retuned the car in a certain way, and I do a lot of rentals for me and my boss so I know we’re not required but also 150 feet is ridiculous
That made me go out of my way
This was the first rental ever that asked to detailed the vehicle, so that’s the only reason that I wouldn’t rent from this host again..

Easy pickup. Clear communication. Car jerks a little too much and is a little jumpy but nothing crazy. Overall good experience

Car worked solid for the job got us to the place and had not too bad of gas mileage. The clicker to unlock didn’t work but did work for locking . Breaks were a bit bumpy and the suspension could be checked made car bumpy when on freeway .
