I want to leave an honest review regarding my experience because it was very disappointing and uncomfortable.
First, the vehicle I originally booked was switched last minute the day before my out-of-town trip. Due to the short notice, I accepted the vehicle swap because I could not find another rental in time, even though it was an inconvenience and not what I originally reserved.
However, what made the experience much worse was what happened when I arrived to pick up the vehicle.
While on the property, I was approached by an older man in a gray pickup truck who stated that he owned the lot. He began aggressively questioning me about why I was there and made me feel very uncomfortable. He then blocked my vehicle in, preventing me from leaving, and threatened to call the police if I did not explain why I was there. After finally moving, he stated that I was trespassing and said I could not come back.
As a customer, this was extremely upsetting and made me feel unsafe and unwelcome. I immediately reached out to report the incident because I no longer felt comfortable returning the vehicle to that location, especially if this individual would be present. Unfortunately, my concerns were completely ignored, and I never received a response.
No customer should feel harassed, intimidated, or unsafe while simply trying to pick up a vehicle they reserved. I hope this experience is taken seriously, addressed properly, and
handled better for future customers.
I request an early drop off time so that I wouldn’t have the same experience as pick.
Sorry to hear about your experience. You must have run into the owner of the building. I have no control over him and he has no interest in our company. I can honestly say he is one on the nicest gentleman I know and have never received a compliment. I think there must have been a miscommunication between the two of you.
