DO NOT RUN THE BATTERY TO ZERO. Completely draining the battery can result in severe damages to the vehicle. Guests are asked to maintain battery power above 20% or 50 miles. The vehicle should be returned with the same battery power as it was delivered to you. For faster drop-offs, you can waive this requirement and add prepaid EV for $25 dollars in the extras section. Just make sure to return the vehicle with at least 20% battery or roughly 50 miles. If requested, a home charger with adapter will be included. Keep trip planning and battery life in mind. • Do I need a portable charger?

  If you are stopping to charge at a supercharger, you don't need a portable charger. The portable charger is only needed if you need to charge while parked overnight. It will allow Level 1 charging with a household outlet, and level 2 charging with a 220 outlet. This is called a destination charger and is best used with a 220v outlet (dryer plug) if available at your destination. This will get you around 200+ miles of range in a 10hr, overnight charge. The charger will work with a standard 120v outlet (normal household plug) but will will likely only add 30-40 miles of range during a 10hr charge. The portable charger can be used along the road, but will charge much slower than supercharger.

• How does charging work?

  There are 3 levels of EV charging: Level 1: House Plug (120v). This will charge very slowly: 3-5 miles of range per hour of charge Level 2: High Voltage (220v). This will faster, but still relatively slow: 20-40 miles of range per hour of charge. Level 3: DC Faster Charging/Supercharger. These are the chargers you see at some Walmart, Target or Mall parking lots. They look like a large gas pump, and are usually in clusters of 4. This is the fastest option, and depending on the charger can charge a call to ~80% in less than an hour.

• How does the EZ Pass work?

  You are welcome to use your own EZ Pass or use the one in the vehicle. If you incur any tolls while you are renting, Turo will automatically bill you about a week after your rental is completed.

• How do I find a charger?

  The vehicles navigation can be used to find a charger but there are multiple apps/tools available to make this process easier. Plug share is a community driven app where people rate the chargers they use. This will help you identify chargers that may be down due to maintenance, or may not be operating as well. ABRP (A Better Route Planner) is a great road tripping app. Put in your vehicle, and destination and it will build you a trip, telling you where to stop, what level to charge to, and how long to charge at each stop.

• What is the range of the vehicle?

  The Premium AWD Mustang MachE has a 220 mile advertised range. Multiple factors can influence range. Driving at high speeds, cold weather, road conditions, and climate control usage can all reduce the estimated range.
