This was my first time renting from Turo. I explained this to the host. He stated he would be there to deliver vehicle. I called him upon arriving at a shady hotel and he started yelling at me. He said I should be appreciate he washed the vehicle and had it ready for rental. I had no idea how to unlock the lock for the key. He said I needed to take pictures to send him to make sure I was the one renting. He would’ve known this if he was there to deliver the vehicle. He then talked down to me. Grew easily frustrated. Sent me a bill after returning. I left a copy of the receipt for gas in the vehicle. I sent him a copy of the receipt. I do not recommend.
Refusal to pay additional charges caused by careless actions often leads to reviews like this. We are not required to meet guests in person; secure lockboxes with clear instructions are provided. Upon return vehicle was left unlocked with the key inside,was excessively dirty, including footprints on the seats. The guest refused to pay for used fuel and excess mileage after refueling only 15 miles before return. This review is misleading. All charges were applied in full compliance with Turo TOS

Pickup location description was a little unclear but I found it.
In the future, to avoid any issues, I recommend simply paying attention to the Turo trip screen in the upper right corner. If you are using the airport, it usually clearly shows the location and position of the vehicle on the parking lot map.
No smoking allowed
