Dead battery and check engine light came on
I tend not to believe customer’s explanation. They returned from a trip at 04:25, and at 04:26, the GPS logged a battery disconnection( system unplugged) . Diagnostics revealed DTC code P1590, showing a communication error between the ECM and the TC-SST-ECU. This could point to negligence—like leaving the car with systems running—or intentional battery disconnection. The diagnostic found no faults, suggesting external causes and unjustified costs for us.
