The car itself was excellent for the trip and drove very smoothly. However, the overall experience with the host was disappointing due to privacy concerns and unnecessary interaction.

One of the best parts about using Turo in the past was how simple and hassle-free the process usually is. Unfortunately, this host was not prepared when we arrived, even though we were already about 20 minutes late ourselves. We then had to wait outside his house for another 10 minutes before he came down. After that, he asked to see the driver’s license in person even though it had already been uploaded and verified through the app beforehand. He then spent several more minutes taking pictures while we stood outside in the heat waiting.

What concerned us the most was discovering later during the trip that the vehicle had an aftermarket dashcam running the entire time. We were never informed that conversations inside the vehicle could potentially be recorded. We were traveling for business and discussed personal matters, credentials, and banking information during the drive, so finding this out afterward felt uncomfortable and invasive.

The vehicle was great, but the hosting experience felt overly intrusive and could definitely be handled more professionally.

The car was amazing! Very clean, practically brand new. Host was polite, responsive and I will definitely rent from him again.
