Car was clean and in good condition. Might need rotors and brake pads changed soon, but still drove fine. Owner even has a car wash membership if car gets too dirty during trip. Would definitely rent again from Richard.

Although Richard is excellent at communicating he doesn't seem too concerned about keeping the vehicle maintained and safe to drive. After having a mechanic check the vehicle that I had just picked up we discovered the wheel bearings were bad. I contacted the host immediately who didn't want to admit any responsibility for the issue. It took numerous phone calls with Turo before I was able to get a refund. I won't say don't rent from Richard but definitely check the vehicle out BEFORE using the car. Seemed a little clean inside and out. Short term rental would be best vesus a long road drive.

I maintain all my vehicles. The truck had a few knots in the back tires that made the noise. Truck just came off a long trip and was booked back to back same day. I changed all four tires to be on safe side. This customer took my truck to a mechanic without my knowledge which is AGAINST TURO rules . Customer stated car was making noise so i told he to return truck if it wasn’t safe. As a host we have no control over refunds or any financial transactions. Turo controls that
