Very disappointing and intimidating experience.
I rented this car through Turo and had a very unpleasant experience from the beginning. When I received the vehicle, it was not clean and was noticeably dirty, and it was also provided to me without the expected amount of fuel.
When I returned the car, the host became aggressive and accused me of causing damage that I do not believe I caused. He also tried to pressure me into paying cash on the spot.
The situation became extremely uncomfortable and intimidating, especially with several of his friends present. I felt pressured and unsafe during the return process.
I strongly recommend thoroughly documenting the vehicle with photos and keeping all communication through Turo. Based on my experience, I would not rent from this host again.

For clarity, the vehicle was professionally detailed and photographed before delivery. The 1/4 tank fuel level was documented and disclosed. The return location is a shared business property—not a gathering of my “friends.” I addressed newly documented curb rash through Turo’s peer-to-peer resolution process, as permitted. Every detail is supported by time-stamped photos, so fortunately, the documentation speaks louder than the story being told here.
