The car I reserved (Prius) was not there when I arrived for pickup. Waited for an hour and a half to get a replacement. Was given a 4Runner instead and spent way more on gas than I budgeted. Only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because they were pretty responsive when notified of the issue. Seems like poor communication on their end that led to my poor experience.

Unfortunately, the booked Prius got bumper broken on previous guest trip & wasn’t drivable. We gave u 2023 4runner AWD instead of original booked 2016 Prius. We were sold out & only had this available. I understand it’s not as efficient as Prius on gas but experience is also a lot different. 4runner rents double the cost of Prius & we discount to match the price for you. All this took us sometime & sorry for the inconvenience
Awesome car! Super clean and in great condition and perfect for our needs. The pick up was so easy, as was the drop off! There was also great communication throughout the trip, with detailed instructions. I will definitely rent from Hash Cars again in the future!

Upon receiving the car, the interior was very dirty. Dirt all over the seats, console, dash etc. But what was incredibly disappointing is that the car smelled very strongly of cigarette and marijuana smoke. I immediately notified the owner and he never responded. Which is telling because he was very quick to respond to every other message.
The car was also not delivered with a full tank of gas and noticeably vibrated when braking.

Excellent experience from start to finish. The host was friendly, professional, and very easy to work with. Communication was outstanding throughout the entire rental, making pickup and return quick and hassle-free. The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and in great condition—it drove perfectly and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this host and would definitely rent from them again.
