Packed with the latest technology and leather upholstery. Perfect for fall and winter with its all-wheel-drive system and brand-new Goodyear tires. 2019 highlights include refreshed styling, new Touring trim with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto functionality, plus the Honda Sensing suite of safety features. This is by far the most pragmatic car I ever owned: I typically get around 30+ mpg and love the semi-autonomous features of its cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and distance control. This car comes with rubber mats for those messy winter months.#02800829418

Everything worked very efficiently and the car was great even had a video feature when you blink right to show What’s to the right of you.

I think this was the most troubling trip on Turo so far. I had rented the AWD Audi SUV because I knew I was going to be driving through snow. The Audi broke down within the first 3 miles I drove it. The associate that helped me (not Kristof but I think works for him) was eager to help and fix my situation and I was offered the HR-V. I confirmed 3 times that the vehicle was AWD. Then, to my surprise in the midst of a snowstorm, I found out it was Real Time AWD, but I had no option to put the car in AWD. Basically, the vehicle would go into AWD mode when the tires were slipping/ sliding, but I had no option to put the vehicle in AWD. The vehicle would shut off the AWD every 30 seconds to “assess” whether it still needed AWD, making my travels horrendous! I expressed my concern and the fact the vehicle wasn’t all time AWD like I needed, and I was treated, by Kristof this time, very poorly and threatened that I would be kicked off Turo if I stated the vehicle wasn’t AWD. If you look it up, Real Time AWD and AWD are different and thankfully Turo customer service listened to my concerns and helped rectify the situation. I wish I could rate the first associate before Kristof separately because even though the first car broke down, he was much more pleasant to deal with. Kristof made it a point to mention, before anything else, about his rating and not about the concern for my troubles or safety. Kept comparing my ride to that of his wife’s Mercedes SUV and told me to not drive in snowy weather instead of addressing the real issue that the vehicle couldn’t be put in AWD. I would steer clear of this vehicle if you need all time AWD and Kristof as a host, I would not recommend. Hate to have had this experience, really put a damper on my trip and I felt unsafe and untrusting of the vehicle! Definitely not what I originally rented!
The Honda+Audi (orig rental) are both AWD. Neither has a switch for permanent AWD. I get it, I was equally worried when I drove/slid in the snowstorms with National rental in Buffalo+Detroit in Feb. Yet I never blamed the car or the co for sliding. The only way not to slide on the day of rental that resulted in multiple fatalities on I95 would have been: 1) go slow 2) minimal fwd./lateral acceleration 3) winter tires w deep tread 4) heavy weight Neither car was listed w that spec: this is unfair
