Location and host were great. The car, on the other hand, needed to be taken in for new brakes before we got it. We notified the host, so hopefully it’ll be fixed ASAP.

I rented a nice vehicle, got switched last minute to a lesser quality vehicle, only to show up and get switched once again into a beat up old Subaru, all for the same amount. No apologies, no credits, no options. It was take it or walk.
I understand you were under impressed with the switch from Mazda CX-5 to the Subaru. Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate your flexibility. I keep these cars properly maintained and will continue to do so.

If you plan to pick up your Turo rental after 6pm, don’t bother. The off site airport parking facility where the vehicle is stored won’t have anyone there to hand you the keys.
Vehicle engine runs loud but gets you there.

I apologize for the mishandling your vechicle delivery. That was an error on my part. That said, I continue to service all arriving and departure flights regardless time of the day, and work with guests to cover all types of scenarios for pick up and drop off. I hope you will give the service another chance next time you are in town. Re: engine noise, car is routinely serviced, including—oil, brakes, tires, and CVT transmission specific to these Subarus

First time Turo experience. Car was clean. Drove well. Paid extra to pick it up at train station rather than at the airport.
The door lock was finicky and sometimes took 20-30 seconds of jiggling the key to make it work. The the car alarm went off every time I unlocked and opened the door. That wasn't fun. I probably set off the alarm at least 10 times over 4 days.
Owner was very responsive, but not able to resolve during my rental. He assured me that he could unlock remotely if the door lock became nonfunctional during the trip.
No smoking allowed
Smoking in any Turo vehicle will result in a $150 fine

Unreasonably dirty vehicles may result in a $150 fine
