This vehicle replaced another vehicle partway through our reservation. The vehicle was great, but the issue we had was with communication through the app on where to return it. I picked my vehicle up at the airport and was instructed to return it to Eglin Air Force Base in the app. Seemed weird but I assumed maybe they shared a civilian parking area or something. I tapped the link in the app to start navigation and didn’t realize I wasn’t where I was supposed to be until I was locked into a lane taking me into the base. The MP was very friendly and got me on my way without incident. I’m assuming the replacement vehicle was picked up by the previous customer at the Air Force base and the swapping of vehicles caused the hiccup in the app, but it was still something that could have been avoided if communication between the vehicle owner and Turo was how it should be.
