Steering: The steering wheel was noticeably off-center, almost as if there was an alignment or tire issue. Other than that, the vehicle drove fine.
* Dashboard screen: The screen for music and directions turned on and off a couple of times, but it was a minor inconvenience.
* Heat: The heat in the 4Runner was incredible, which was especially appreciated on the colder nights.
* Power ports: All of the power ports worked great.
* Key fob: The key fob took some getting used to…the lock/unlock buttons on the fob didn’t work. You have to use the app instead, which can be difficult when you’re in national parks or other areas without cell service.
* Window coverings: It would have been nice to have window tint especially since we were using the vehicle for car camping. Sarongs worked fine.
Overall, these were all minor issues, and we had a great experience. We would absolutely book and use this vehicle again!

Cars are not in good condition

We’re sorry you experienced a mechanical breakdown during your trip. However, we don’t believe it’s fair to say our vehicles are “not in good condition.” This vehicle was maintained and operating normally before the trip. Unfortunately, the engine unexpectedly failed, which can happen even with a properly maintained vehicle, and there was no prior indication that this failure was going to occur. We responded to the situation as soon as we were notified.
Key fob didn’t work, other than that the vehicle was great.
