We had an absolutely fantastic time with Yonas's Tesla! First time being in a fully self-driving vehicle and it ended up being one of the best decisions we made for our trip. We didn't have to think at all about navigating through a city we weren't familiar with which really made a difference. We were simply able to enjoy the sights instead of being stressed out about lane changes/where to turn/parking/etc. Another benefit was the security of the frunk and sub-trunk which allowed us to leave bags in the car without having to think twice. There was a learning curve (and I do wish there were a few more analog knobs/dials), but all things considered, it was just awesome. I do imagine this car has spoiled us for future trips. Yonas was also very responsive to any questions we had and approved a time extension when our flight was delayed, which we appreciated. I'd happily rent his car again. Thank you so much, Yonas!

DO NOT RENT! This car is the definition of range anxiety. We had to charge multiple times per day because the battery lasts ~100mi per charge. We were forced to plan our entire trip around charging the car and often couldn’t do the things we wanted because the car simply didn’t have the range. I’ve had good experiences with electric cars before but this cars battery is severely degraded. DO NOT RENT.

Thanks for the feedback. I had the battery tested at Tesla following this review, and it came back healthy with no degradation issues. A few features that can noticeably increase power drain were active during the rental (Summon standby, Sentry Mode), which we’ve since adjusted the default settings for future renters.
