This was our first experience with Turo and we’ll do it again. Tetiana was very responsive. I had to call her one time as there was a glitch in the app and a guy answered the phone and said he was Tetiana which I found peculiar. It may be that she has a team working with her as she has 6 cars with Turo.
The main reason I am rating her a 3, which I do reluctantly as she has all 5s, is because the tire tread on the front right tire was below the 4/32” required by Turo and almost bald in some spots. (It was bad enough that I borrowed my friend’s car.) I brought this to her attention and again she responded promptly but said she rotated the front tires to the rear and ordered two more. That’s not exactly a safe way to rent a car.
I never thought to check tire tread on a rental car but will do so in the future and recommend the same.

As a precaution, we performed a rotation and scheduled replacements — there were no bald or unsafe tires. If we had known during your trip, we would have resolved it immediately by arranging a nearby tire shop or swapping the vehicle. Unfortunately, we were informed at the end. Safety is our top priority.
