Amazing rental find on Turo for the price! My husband’s transmission needed work done to it the night before he had to leave for 3 days on a work trip. We found this on the app and had the car an hour later. Not sure I’ll ever go back to regular car renting. Absolute life saver !

The car is a nice 2020 Model Y Performance with good range and features. However, the AC system was not performing adequately during my rental in Phoenix's summer heat. Despite setting it to LO and using preconditioning, vent temperatures hovered around 48°F, and the cabin temps were 85 even during nighttime driving —especially problematic while Supercharging.
I provided multiple photos of vent and cabin temps and raised the issue promptly. The host maintained it was normal for a Tesla in Phoenix heat and declined to investigate further or offer any accommodation. This made the vehicle difficult to use comfortably for the duration of the trip. We did not use the vehicle during the day, unless absolutely needed.
Communication was otherwise straightforward, and the car was clean and as described mechanically. Just be aware of potential climate control limitations in hot climates if booking this vehicle.

This review contains significant inaccuracies. Tesla’s verified vehicle data showed the cabin @ 68°F @5PM, with no A/C or cooling-system alerts. Despite this, we went further and purchased a $100 custom roof sunshade mid-trip specifically for this guest, which reduced cabin temperatures even more. We did not “decline to investigate or accommodate”—we actively monitored the vehicle and purchased and installed equipment mid-trip to address his concerns. Unfortunately guest was still not satisfied.
