First time using Turo, and really appreciated the kindness of my hosts and their quickness to respond. DaBronc was a fun, reliable ride, it was actually decent on gas, and was kept very clean. The AC was wonderful, and it smells very clean. The bluetooth worked, but was unable to connect to the car via cord. The one they had in there didn’t work and even tried my personal one. Not sure if the port is broken or if Im supposed to have an app for it. Overall I had one main issue with the back left door. Unfortunately it wouldn’t lock and it seemed like the lock was broken. I brought this to the hosts attention but they said they were unaware of the issue. I completely understand it’s an easy thing to miss if you don’t have passengers all the time. I actually discovered it because I had to keep some packages for work in the car overnight and wanted to make sure the doors were locked properly. When the door wouldn’t keep close despite numerous attempts to lock I knew something was wrong. While that did cause some anxiety, I found in the morning when I was testing the lock that the cars security system/horn would’ve gone off if someone attempted to open it. If you’re not used to a heavy or bigger car, I would recommend this ride because it’s a happy medium. Not a giant truck or large SUV. Takes a little getting used to but again pretty reliable.
